Greg O’Connell is a new children’s poet, recently published in ten issues of the School Journal. Greg is a unique performer who thrills primary, intermediate and secondary audiences by presenting his poems alongside students live on stage. Focusing on fun, Greg’s all-original one-hour Steampunk Poetry Show 2012 is crafted so that each and every poem entertains and engages New Zealand school audiences. Every minute is a literacy moment for students to hear, see, explore and enjoy. Above all, his poems celebrate the power of imagination and the pure fun of words.
